Civil Defence Department is an integral part of District Administration. Its role in maintaining the law and order situation, in bringing awareness regarding safety aspects against various untoward incidents and in need emergency is stupendous. Present law and order situation, urbanization and frequently occurring incidents of fire, road accidents in the country have increased its importance may folds.
Currently, the post of Civil Defence Officer, Bhakkar is lying vacant since 2/2013.
OBJECTIVES/PREFERENCES
To impart Civil Defence Training to the general public/CD Volunteers/Govt. Employees, Educational Institutions, Mill Workers.
To implement Civil Defence measure in Industrial/Commercial concerns and to make Challan against defaulters.
To hold fire exercise demonstration and seminar etc for awareness purpose.
To take legal action against illegal business of LPG Oil agencies etc.
To provide Bomb Disposal Coverage in entire District & to carry out technical sweeping.
